Hello, my name is Makenna Damhorst.  I’m currently enrolled at the University of Pennsylvania and involved in the following:

• Pursuing an accelerated Master’s in Energy and Sustainability Engineering
  
  
• Division one gymnast on the University of Pennsylvania’s gymnastics team
  
  
• Research assistant at the Clean Energy Conversions Lab under Dr. Jennifer Wilcox since December 2024
  
  
• Graduate fellow with Perry World House, serve as a student representative on the Penn Climate faculty advisory committee
  
  
• Member Student Council for the Kleinman Center for Energy Policy
  
  
• Transferred from UCLA, where I was also a student-athlete on the D1 women’s rowing team
